The “Magic” Age.

It is interesting that for my mother, my cousin and myself that 21 was the “magic” age where we all started dating. Before that, none of us have ever dated guys and 21 was when it suddenly began. My mom had dated a few guys but I only dated one, the one I later married. So now I wonder since our oldest girl is turning 21 later this year if this will be the time she starts dating as well. It will be interesting to find out. We allow our kids to date once they’re 18 and official adults, but the older ones are away at university and now 20 and 21(almost 21 and 22) but so far haven’t dated; they simply don’t really have the time between school, studying, and working over the summer(and our son doesn’t want to spend the $$$ either), but they are free to. It will just be interesting to see now our oldest girl is turning 21 if this will be “The Year” she too will venture into dating and perhaps find her future husband soon….time will tell…
