Ash Wednesday.

Ash Wednesday Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the holy season of Lent. Today is also Mass, and a day of fasting and abstinence. Lent is a humble of season of penance, examination of conscience, Confession, giving things up, getting closer to God, becoming more spiritual, strengthening our faith, drawing closer to prayer, focusing on Jesus’ Passion, cleansing ourselves of sin and impurity, and focusing on God in our lives.

Hair#3 I also dyed my hair! I thought all the grey made me look old and it made me FEEL old so I dyed it an auburn although in the photos here( as seen from the top and a side view) it looks more blonde. Either way it turned out nice and I like it. In fact, I LOVE my “rad” awesome new hair! Only the 8 YR old, 12 YR old, 14 YR old,and the 18 YR old even noticed; the others never even noticed! Only the 14 YR old said it looks nice(but *I* like it and that’s all that matters) and I know the 12 YR old hates it by the face she made and she scowled, “WHY did you dye your hair?” and she calls me a “Ginger” now and says she “disowns” me because she “hates ‘Gingers'” even though now my hair is the same colour as Buddy…

Buddy87 Speaking of Buddy, I had a scare: we couldn’t FIND him for the longest time; he was lost and had just suddenly disappeared and he never came when we called, or even when we rang the doorbell for him; he still never came running or barked like he always does; it was like he’d just vanished into thin air, and I was *REALLY* worried; had someone opened the door perhaps and he ran out onto the street and ran away? Where WAS he? Then I’d found he’d done a shit on the floor…..so at that point I figured he must have known he’d be in trouble and was probably just hiding somewhere….so I called out to him that it was ok…to come on out….and he did; the 8 YR old then found him in the livingroom! I was so relieved! I was so scared! He must have been under the couch(even though I did look there)…
